Donald M. Levin, APR, Fellow PRSA

Donald Levin founded Levin Public Relations & Marketing, Inc., White Plains, NY, in 1984. The full-service communications firm serves clients in high tech, financial services, industry, academia, consumer products, and the professions — for example, venture capital and investment banking firms, DialAmerica, Gartner Group, Marsh, Greenwich Technology Partners, Invest in Sweden, and NYNEX.

Mr. Levin was President of the public relations subsidiary of The Ted Bates Advertising Agency, where in less than two years he doubled the firm's income. Clients included Seiko, Pulsar, Maxell, London Fog, tourism to Greece and Puerto Rico, two cruise lines, and high tech companies.

Prior to that, Mr. Levin was with Hill & Knowlton, the premier public relations firm. He rose to senior vice president for publicity and marketing services and worked in the corporate accounts unit as well. Among the many clients he handled were Uniroyal, ITT Grinnell, Calorie Control Council (preventing the ban of saccharin), Monsanto, Du Pont, Old Spice, and American Iron and Steel Institute.

One program he supervised — a 100-city media tour — won the Public Relations Society of America's Silver Anvil Award for the nation's Best Marketing PR campaign.

Don Levin has also been a writer and bureau chief for McGraw-Hill's Chemical Week. He holds a master's degree in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in engineering from City College of New York.

He was Public Relations Society of America's Tri-State District Chairman and president of its Westchester/Fairfield Chapter. He is past president of Fairfield County Public Relations Association, and was a trustee of Beth Israel Medical Center for five years.

Mr. Levin is an adjunct professor of Marketing Management in the MBA Program of Long Island University. In a program he created with Publicity Club of New York, Syracuse University, and Adelphi University, he conducted one- and two-day seminars on PR and marketing communications twice a year for 12 years. He has also taught public relations courses at Fairleigh Dickinson University and New York Institute of Technology.



Paul J. Seroka

Paul and his team of marketing resources are available to Levin clients. Paul operates a 42-year old marketing communications firm, The Seroka Group, Inc., where he has worked for over 50 clients including IBM, Nestle Foods, Marriott Corporation, SanPellegrino, Time Magazine and Van Eck Securities Corp.

As the senior marketing and communications executive at Fine Host Corporation, he increased sales significantly at numerous food service clients and worked with top management to sell the company to ARAMARK for $100 million cash.

His corporate experience includes serving as Director of Strategic Marketing at Greenwich Technology Partners, where he created highly successful brand and marketing strategy that increased sales over 7000 percent from 1997 to 2002. Greenwich Technology is now recognized by Inc. magazine as the ninth fastest growing company in the U.S.

At Champion Energy Corporation, he reduced outside expenses by more than $700,000, while launching new marketing communications programs for 50,000 current and prospective customers.

He is known for his creative strategy and project management skills, which generate enormous results even with constrained budgets.

Paul holds an MA in Public Affairs from Fordham University, magna cum laude and a BS in Business Administration from the State University of New York, cum laude.



Martin H. Arnold

Martin is a highly experienced public relations practitioner, who was in charge of corporate, Marketing, and investor relations communications for the forest products company, Rayonier, an ITT spin-off. He has worked for clients in software, tech, manufacturing, security services, travel, construction, financial services and the non-profit sector.

For Rayonier, he produced 14 annual reports and was responsible for financial news, advertising, speeches, exhibits, corporate identity, and publications, such as their environmental report and employee newsletters. He founded the company's employee publication as well as its video production center. He developed and managed their Intranet, R>Link, and web site. During the launch of the company as a separate public entity, Martin was responsible for communications.

He first joined ITT Rayonier in government affairs and served as a lobbyist on state and federal issues. He also has long-term experience teaching public relations and related subjects at the college level. Martin earned a BA in journalism from University of Washington, an MA in communication from Fairfield University, and an MBA from University of New Haven.


Cathy N. Clarke

Cathy Clarke, founder and principal, CNC Associates, LLC, has 12 of years of public relations experience, helping clients in IT, wireless, software and broadband markets develop and expand their profile and brand image in the press. Current and recent clients include Telstra Corporation, Telepartner International, Greenwich Technology Partners, The Chambers Group, Belgacom USA, and Snowshore Networks.

She refines client corporate messages and product positioning through media and analyst relations and trade show strategy. She obtains the best results by providing a comprehensive, proactive program, including: business and trade press coverage; placement of bylined feature articles; press tours and press conferences; speaking engagements; trade show participation; event organization and management; and newsletter, brochure and web copy writing.

Cathy was Senior Account Executive with the PR firm, McGlinchey & Paul and Senior Industry Analyst with the Yankee Group. In all, she has almost 20 years experience in telecommunications and IT markets.

She holds a B.A. cum laude from Mount Holyoke College and a Master of International Affairs/Telecommunications Policy from Columbia University. She was a research assistant at the Columbia Institute for Tele-Information (CITI) at the Columbia University Business School.

A well established, highly respected public affairs and marketing/communications firm, an affiliate of Levin Public Relations. Attorney Colburn Aker was in charge of government affairs in Hill & Knowlton's Washington office while Don Levin ran publicity and marketing services activities in the New York office.
